Love Asian tea, food, and culture? You’ve found your tour. From the serious and contemplative gong fu (Chinese "high skill" tea) ceremony, to crazy mecha (Japanese pop culture giant robots with pilots) toys, this tour has it all! Learn all about the art of the Chinese tea ceremony while sipping a delicious Oolong. Sample Tibetan food and (if you dare) yak butter tea. Shop for groceries in a hidden-away Japanese store frequented more by the local Japanese population than anyone else. Peruse the colorful Japanese toys at one of NYC’s best toy shops. You’ll have several chances to buy loose leaf teas over the course of the tour. And, if we have time, you can also sample bubble tea and learn about its history in Taiwan and elsewhere.
